NETGEAR, Inc., a global networking company that delivers innovative products to consumers, businesses and service providers, announced version 3.0 of the NETGEAR ProSecure UTM firmware. The updated firmware includes three major features previously unavailable at small and medium-sized business prices. First, a new next-generation application firewall is now embedded into all ProSecure UTM products. Second, a 3G/4G redundant WAN connection option is now available for small businesses. Finally, all ProSecure UTM products are now capable of storing virtually unlimited security log and quarantine data.

Liaison Technologies hosted Securosis analyst Adrian Lane, who handed out free copies of his white paper, "Tokenization Guidance: How to Reduce PCI Compliance Costs," and answered questions. The Securosis paper fills in the gaps left by the PCI Council's Information Supplement by explaining exactly how to implement tokenization to meet PCI DSS compliance, reduce scope and lower compliance costs.

Specops Software, a global innovation leader in Active Directory and Group Policy-based Desktop and Password Management software, announced the preview of the soon to be released Specops Password Sync. Specops Password Sync (SPS) will help make the management of different passwords across multiple platforms a thing of the past by leveraging current Active Directory infrastructure and security models.

LockPath, a provider of innovative governance, risk and compliance (GRC) applications, announced the release of version 2.2 of the Keylight platform. In addition to helping customers build a risk management program based on ISO 31000 and ISO 27005, Keylight 2.2 provides users with a more streamlined user experience through enhanced, personally configurable dashboards and improved workflow capabilities that expedite the content approval process.
