Vendor Management Analyst II - JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. - Wilmington, DE

Job Description On a daily basis you will partner with internal Legal teammates and with external Law Firms performing Collections Litigation activities for Card. Topics of discussion will include strategic change, performance analysis, operational execution, and regulatory oversight. For each process you will design, build, execute, and improve tools and procedures to achieve goals including tracking and measurement, analysis of key risk and performance metrics, and providing meaningful feedback to internal and external stakeholders. You will establish and maintain partnerships with external groups and escalate issues and concerns to management and business partners as needed. On a periodic basis you are expected to travel to conduct on-site reviews of the Law Firms’ offices and procedures..
Day-to-day responsibilities include: Monitor day-to-day business results for your assigned vendors in these key domains: operational execution, customer experience, inventory management and control environment Demonstrate exceptional judgment and effective written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders Lead and/or participate in compliance-related audit activities including risk assessments, audit planning, oversight of audit testing, control evaluation, report drafting, work paper documentation, and follow up and verification of issue closure Project management experience: ability to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders to meet or exceed critical deadlines Contribute to a business climate and culture that encourages integrity, respect, excellence, and innovation Consult with business partners to establish clear requirements and aggressive, achievable deadlines Identify emerging performance trends and propose solutions when appropriate Qualifications
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 3+ years of business operations experience related to Vendor Management, Collections, or Collections Litigation is required in addition to experience working in a matrixed structure Analytic mindset, with the ability to present written and verbal information in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and excellent time management skills Experience analyzing, improving, or designing business processes Demonstrated end-to-end responsibility for identification and mitigation of process gaps related to mandated policies and procedures Demonstrated ability to monitor and analyze vendor performance data both in real time and on a cumulative basis, and make appropriate recommendations to ensure success. Demonstrated ability to positively interact with other departments, units, managers, and colleagues to achieve specific business results. Ability to prioritize multiple complex situations to deliver successful results Travel time required approximately 10%-20% of the time Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience related to project management, vendor management, or collections Programming skills/aptitude is desirable
