As a Transaction Advisory Services Senior Associate, you'll help make that happen in the strategic advisory, valuation, and transaction capacities with a focus on real estate, hospitality, tourism and cruise sectors. The opportunity We work on the most complex and high-profile global transactions, across a broad portfolio of clients but generally focusing on the real estate, hospitality, tourism and cruise sectors. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with a background in real estate and hospitality development, financing, brokerage, and ownership, and who are serial transaction, development and commercial advisers, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients across a variety of asks, from feasibility and market analysis to business plan assessments and new business growth opportunities. As a team, we prepare and execute business plans and identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change a business or project.
Your key responsibilities Participate in real estate, hospitality and tourism advisory, valuation and acquisition engagements including financial analyses, cash flow modeling, property/ portfolio modeling, analytical model reviews, loan portfolio underwriting, market due diligence, asset valuations, real estate appraisals and appraisal reviews, and other general real estate advisory services. Engagements include a variety of property types including multi-family residential, office, retail, hotel, warehouse, industrial, mixed-use, infrastructure, and special-use properties. Specific responsibilities include financial and cash flow modeling, property/portfolio modeling, market information research, real estate documents analysis (including site/building plans, leases, appraisals, and mortgage underwriting/lending documents), market studies, and report writing. Participate in sales/marketing pursuit opportunities. Opportunity to work on cross-border engagements in Latin America and the Caribbean. Interface directly with clients. Supervise and mentor junior staff.

To qualify for the role, you must have A bachelor’s degree or graduate degree in real estate, finance, hospitality and/or other relevant academic major and at least 3 years of related work experience Experience in creating complex financial models (cash flow/property/portfolio modeling). Experience in commercial real estate loan underwriting, acquisition due diligence, real estate valuation, asset management, finance, or market research. Strong Excel skills and financial modeling expertise. Argus, Access and Visual Basic experience strongly desired. Strong written skills, including experience wring business plans. Willingness and ability to travel, when necessary. Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts Solid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally
Ideally, you’ll also have Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency Experience in Latin American and/or Caribbean geographies Experience in the hospitality and/or cruise sectors Previous experience in a mergers, acquisitions, development, or advisory role Experience gained within another large professional services organization Established networking skills in a relevant industry Management consulting experience
