The Role The Training and Compliance Coordinator will assist the Operational Departments and the Human Resources Department. The Coordinator is the support of all logistics personnel tracking and responsible for the compliance of those personnel in regards to airport badging, airline training, and logistical training. Daily, the Coordinator is responsible for multi-tasking between scheduling interviews, TSA, CBP, and badging appointments, compliance management, and coordinating with senior logistics management. The role will be constantly working and communicating between multiple departments. Responsibilities & Expectations Responsible for all LAWA badging company wide, including but not limited to: Scheduling badging appointments for new and existing employees Collect all proper documentation from employees and have appropriate forms completed according to the appointment. Fingerprinting clearance Have employees watch Airport Security Training video Have employees complete LAWA Emergency Management Training Scheduling 1st Badge appointment (no icon) Based on job description: Requesting a temporary Customs Seal with Public Information Office Scheduling Escort Class Training + appointment for E icon on badge Submitting Application for Customs Seal Scheduling appointment for CBP icon on badge Scheduling driver test + appointment for Driver icon on badge Filed / scan and store all paperwork according to audit requirements Responsible for all LAWA, TSA, and CBP record audits required by LAX. Responsible for tracking and updating TSA and Escort Logs. Will assist in various parts of the on-boarding process for new hires. Responsible for tracking and updating all logistical training for Agents. Responsible for tracking and updating all required airline training for Agents. Responsible for tracking and updating all Airline Contact information and SOP’s in CRM and Outlook. Will coordinate parking tags for new/existing employees. Coordinate and track all fleet vehicle maintenance and AOA compliance requirements.
