We're rapidly expanding our manufacturing facilities and seeking to hire a Senior Information Security Engineer. __

Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for the planning, design, implementation, maintenance and support of information security technologies ranging from, but not limited to firewalls, intrusion prevention & detection systems, enterprise anti-virus and patching solutions, data leakage prevention, two-factor, email protection, threat detection, vulnerability scanners and software deployment tools. Validate and test security architecture and design solutions to produce detailed engineering specifications with recommended vendor technologies. Perform daily monitoring for integrity of servers, end point systems and processes which may also include reviewing system and application logs and verifying security services and jobs are running as expected. Establish and maintain operational, configuration and other process/procedures to ensure effectiveness security policies. Install, configure, apply patches, perform upgrades and troubleshoot endpoint antivirus and other agent-based software on Windows and Mac desktops, as well as Windows and Linux servers. Provide support for Management and IT operations teams to provide answers, audit artifacts, solutions and improvements to security policies. Participate in forensics and post-mortem investigations of Information Security incidents while preparing report documents to illustrating the findings. Coordinate with other infrastructure and application project/support teams to ensure new policies/assets are deployed and issues impacting tools and systems are resolved quickly and effectively without adversely impacting the affected enterprise systems. Provide expertise and guidance around issues while recommending solutions that mitigate and eliminate risk. Define company security requirements and review systems to determine if they have been designed to comply with established security standards; develop new standards and reference architecture as necessary. Develop SOP’s and runbooks to promote successful operations. Assist in the enforcement of security policies from planning, technology safeguards and remediation for data, software applications, hardware and telecommunications. Technical and Functional Skills: Minimum of 5-8 years of security engineering experience, specifically in networks, systems, database and operations. Extensive expertise in developing and supporting complex security solutions. Experience in Cloud and SaaS applications security, endpoint and data encryption. Experience using scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data; programming experience is a plus. System administration experience in a Windows and Linux environment preferred. Experience developing technical documents and procedures, topology maps with various software applications. Programming/Languages: Powershell and Bash scripting, Java, C#, PHP, Python, HTML5/CSS/Javascript. Design & IDE Tools: Visio, Powershell ISE, Netbeans, Visual Studios. Network Tools: nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit. Systems: Windows 7/8/10/11, Windows Server 2012+, Active Directory, Mimecast API, Microsoft Exchange API, Linux, LAMP, Kali Linux. Familiar with industry security regulations and frameworks (MITRE Attack Framework, NIST, CIS etc.) Behavioral Skills and Competencies Required: Excellent conceptual, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to present a professional image to management, staff, vendors, co-workers, and outside contacts. Team player, able to work with cross-functional teams, and highly interested in working on third party system technologies. Ability to provide both internal and external customer support, including ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Self-starter, motivated and fast learner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or similar). Minimum of 5-8 years of security engineering experience CISSP and other security certifications.
