Cyber Defense Labs is looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional with a proven track record of increasing enterprise security posture and cybersecurity resilience.

As a Cyber Defense Labs Senior Associate, Cyber Security Advisory Services , you will support projects and assist with the consulting operations for our Advisory services division. A Senior Associate is expected to have strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to fulfill all their assigned roles in an optimal way. Business writing skills and the ability to create reports and professional presentations are critical for this role.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director of Cyber Security Advisory Services.

Role Responsibilities:
Supports the execution of advisory projects / engagements to ensure superior quality and delivery of products and services to clients, including: Posture Maturity / Gap Assessments (NIST / ISO / DFS, etc.). Business Impact Assessments / Cyber Security Risk Assessments. Business Continuity Programs / Disaster Recovery Programs. GRC Programs Design and Implementation. Policy / Procedures Review / Development. Participates as an active collaborator in team projects identifying organizational needs, gaps, and improvements as it relates to security programs. Researches and develops content to enhance security programs. Participates on client site visits or virtual calls as required. Supports client assessments and interviews. Reviews and develops SOP’s and playbooks. Other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience:
College degree in cyber security, information technology, business or a combination of education and equivalent work experience is preferred. Preferred cybersecurity certifications; including but not limited to CCISO, CISSP, CRISC, Security+, CISA, etc. A minimum of three (3) years of experience on cybersecurity or business continuity programs. Advanced level of Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required. General knowledge and familiarity with PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO, NIST, and IT Controls is preferred. Demonstrate understanding of relevant cybersecurity topics and news is preferred. Very strong communication skills, ability to present reports and status reports to teams is required. Ability to travel domestically 20%-30% of the time.
