Our Client Advisory Services (CAS) team is growing and we are looking for individuals interested in an opportunity to develop their accounting career. We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Associate and partner with our clients as a business advisor, developing strategies for success. This position can be based out of our Dublin, Independence, Wooster, or New Philadelphia, Ohio office location. Our Client Advisory Services team fills the growing need for general ledger maintenance; accounts receivable and payable services; bank and credit card reconciliations; and month-end closes for our clients. Our accounting and advisory services team harnesses tech solutions that deliver a deeper understanding of business’s data to deliver expert analysis and short- and long-term financial planning insight. By providing custom, outsourced accounting services that leverage cloud-based solutions, our Client Advisory Services team takes on the role of controller and provides reliable advice and strategic insight designed to help clients better understand the company’s financial wellness, gain momentum and consider the big picture. Responsibilities: Harnessing effective technological solutions to provide our clients with comprehensive accounting and financial information Providing our clients with fully-customizable and user-friendly dashboards, metrics, and analytical reporting Advising and providing insight into client specific industries and the marketplace Providing strategic guidance on key accounting and financial management issues Managing workload and projects Reviewing clients' internal financials and internal team work for accuracy Managing back office bookkeeping for clients Preparing financial statements and providing general accounting practices to clients Preparing bank reconciliations, monthly and quarterly sales, use and CAT tax returns Assisting clients with accounting, expense reporting, and daily updates Ownership and accountability for client relationships Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA exam eligible Excellent communication and organizational skills Understanding of debits/credits Experience in closing and analyzing financial statements in a variety of industries Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify, SOS Inventory software QuickBooks ProAdvisor Advanced Certification a plus Knowledge of general accounting concepts Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Word and Excel required Accounting background in tax is helpful
