Senior Architect--Information Security, Identity Access Management (IAM)

The Senior Architect of Information Security (InfoSec) for Identity and Access Management (IAM) plays a key role in defining, building, and delivering enterprise strategy, architecture, and solutions for identity and access management in the Information Security group of the Enterprise Information Technology division.

This position serves as the technical authority for our enterprise IDaaS. It requires interpretation of business needs and collaborating with IT teams in the implementation of authentication and access control for corporate applications.

Significant experience with a cloud identity access service, IDaaS. Okta is preferred. Understands the concepts and technologies related to SSO (single sign-on) and MFA (multi-factor authentication). Strong knowledge of technology protocols and services, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, Active Directory, XML, SOAP, JSON, REST, SCIM. Experience with identity management provisioning/de-provisioning deployments using AD and other identity sources. Proficiency in one or more of these languages, .Net, PowerShell, Java, Python or Perl. Experience with sound software development lifecycle practices, including code reviews, source configuration management, and QA testing. Experience deploying applications in a production environment. Can perform complex problem analysis. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities. Proven ability to rapidly adapt to changing business requirements. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills that enable one to perform in a team-oriented environment. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree. One or more of the following security certifications is preferred, but not required: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), any GIAC certification or ISACA certifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the technical lead in designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise-level IDaaS, Okta. Responsible for Okta administration and support to Okta clients within the organization. Manage operational activities. Manage Okta policies and maintain IAM technology infrastructure by integrating Okta with Active Directory, enterprise applications, and security solutions. Customize and extend IAM products, such as Okta, to meet business needs with the vendor’s API. Provide IAM guidance and participate in technical decision-making in the IAM aspects of enterprise solutions, including aligning IAM initiatives to business processes. Prepare documentation in support of IAM solutions and participate in defining enterprise-wide IAM standards. Uphold and enforce IT Security policies and procedures. Investigate and respond to security violations. Raise awareness and contribute to the development of IT Security policies and their corresponding procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve issues both technical and in the business process.
