Quality Assurance Manager - CACI - San Diego, CA

Job Description CACI is seeking an Quality Assurance Manager that plans, and manages quality assurance (QA) functions and provides a QA program that supports and enforces the requirements of the program What You’ll Get to Do: Performs or oversees QA Audits. Issues an audit report on the findings. complies with all federal, state, and local Occupational Safety Hazards Act (OSHA) requirements and comparable host nation standards. Provides on-site support, monitoring, witnessing and conducting of various tests and demonstrations, including Category I and II Testing, Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E), Acceptance Testing (AT), and other tests as required. Provides reports on the results of the testing. Documents findings of unacceptable maintenance practices or procedures. Makes written recommendations of corrective action(s) to preclude reoccurrence. Recommends quality assurance standards and procedures to promote accuracy and efficiency. Develops, implements and manages new and revised quality assurance (QA) support policies and procedures to ensure QA issues are considered during the acquisition, maintenance, repair, normal supply functions, and in the design, analysis or inspection of systems, subsystems, and other equipment. Develops, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, and related technical publications concerned with work methods, work procedures, safety, and in the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and other equipment. Prepares statistical and narrative reports of quality assurance activities and special projects. Provides guidance, advice, and training as needed to the engineering, technical, logistics, and program management staff. Responsible for establishing quality policies and procedures that assures adequate verification and documentation for the installation or removal of equipment, modification, maintenance, testing, inspection, packaging and shipping of a quality product. Responsible for reviewing existing Test, Measurement, Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) documentation and calibration schedules to ensure they are accurate, adequate, and in compliance with established calibration requirements. Reviews journals, catalogs and other technical literature as needed to identify and implement quality assurance tools and techniques. Analyzes test data obtained during system and formal witnessed testing to ascertain systems capabilities operate optimally against the requirements baseline. Supports US Army systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications: Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or an Associate’s Degree with two additional years’ related engineering or statistical experience. Ten years’ experience in quality assurance (QA). A Masters Degree in Quality Assurance will be the equivalent of two years of quality assurance experience. Three years’ experience in a signals, engineering, or technical industry. Expert in defining and refining QA procedures and developing new procedures. Must be knowledgeable of QA policy and procedures under appropriate military and ISO-9000 series standards. Knowledge of RAM data collection and analysis. Fluent English, including ability to read, write and comprehend technical documentation, schematics and diagrams written under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standards. GIL1
