The QA Engineer role requires 5 to 10 years of experience testing in a Linux environment. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and tracking and reporting on all aspects of a project. This position plays a vital part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, inquisitive, and responsible. If you have an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we would like to meet you.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReview requirements, specifications and technical design documents and provide timely and meaningful feedbackCreate detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesEstimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activitiesMentor junior QA engineers and coordinate testing for assigned scrum teamDesign, develop and execute automation scriptsIdentify, record, and track bugsPerform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolvedDevelop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needsInteract with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirementsEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS5 to 10 years of work experience in software quality assuranceStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processesExperience with managing testing resources and activitiesExperience with Linux environmentExperience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test casesHands-on experience with both white box and black box testingHands-on experience with automated testing tools including (but not limited to) SoapUI, JMeter, Selenium, AppiumStrong knowledge of SQL and scriptingAbility to read JAVA codeExperience working in an Agile/Scrum SDLCExperience with performance and/or security testing is a plusBS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subjectWHAT WE OFFERA collaborative environment where success is the ultimate resultChallenging and diverse tasks with opportunity for introducing your own ideas and experienceCompetitive compensation packageLong-term career growth within a successful international company – both domestically and internationallyA modern workplace with additional company benefits such as incentives and staff eventsJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Quality Assurance: 5 years (Preferred)Education:Bachelor's (Preferred)Work authorization:United States (Required)
