Your role:

As a Pricing Analyst at MilliporeSigma, you will serve as an internal pricing consultant and enthusiast. You will work cross-functionally to understand business drivers and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper price setting globally and their evolving needs. You will work with powerful data engines and innovative tools to generate insights.


Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and educate stakeholders on pricing strategies, tools, and processes to maximize and improve profitability across the organization Drive personal, organizational, and operational excellence through continuous improvement as we evolve to a collaborative, value-based pricing culture Develop and execute projects based on hypotheses for profit improvement opportunities, validated with data and analyses, and accompanied with an implementation plan Develop actionable insights through regular reporting of pricing key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure stakeholders are aware of outliers, trends, and key drivers Support pricing process excellence and continuous improvements in the price setting process (productivity, systems, consistent methodologies / processes, and skill development) and ensure stakeholders understand and utilize pricing processes, tools, analytics, and best practices Travel domestic/international up to 3 times a year


Who you are:

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Life Science or related discipline 1+ years of experience in sales operations, marketing analytics, product management, procurement, strategic sourcing, product pricing or related discipline
OR
High School Diploma/GED equivalent with 3+ years of experience in sales operations, marketing analytics, product management, procurement, strategic sourcing, product pricing or related discipline


Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent professional experience (Business, Informatics/Computer Science, Math/Statistics, or similar) Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision and excellent follow through on diverse projects both independently and as part of a team Proven ability to handle multiple, often conflicting, priorities under tight deadlines Strong analytical/problem solving, critical thinking, and data analysis skills (ability to see the story through the data) Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint and Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.) experience 2+ years of experience in large data (1MM+ record) analysis Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and presentation abilities Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships within a team Ability to work effectively remotely and with remote stakeholders Secondary language such as German, French, or Spanish Experience developing and implementing pricing strategies, tactics, and analytics Experience working in or closely with marketing, commercial/sales, or IT Experience working on the support of pricing models and capabilities Experience of supporting systems implementation, integration, or similar change management project Experience with analytical and conceptional thinking within a technical environment Experience working in global, partially remote teams preferred Ability to managethe creation of visualizations and report data with analytical and statistical tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Palantir) Strong ability to clean, manipulate, and analyze data in databases with analytical and statistical tools (e.g.Excel, Knime, SQL, R, Python, Java) Ability to represent complex information in easily understood visualization Strong understanding of pricing concepts, processes, strategies, and systems Ability to manage pricing models deployed within critical business processes with key business stakeholders Motivated by tackling challenging problems in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while working on diverse, impactful, open-ended assignments Desire for continuous improvement of own methodologies and ways of working Ability to work with and engage across teams and various functions within the organization; comfortable contributing to discussions and debating key issues Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to move others to a conclusion
