Responsibilities: Apply a thorough understanding of risk management to assist Risk Management Partners and Managing Directors while interacting with partners and engagement teams to provide Risk Management guidance within assigned Service Line or Center of Excellence (COE) Regularly interface with engagement teams to provide policy guidance and to resolve questions regarding the application of such policy Participate in periodic complex compliance activities to help ensure client engagement teams comply with firm requirements in the assigned Service Line or COE Contribute to the continued improvement of RM-Tax processes, materials and tools Oversee work product and may oversee entire small projects, managing deadlines, expectations and may include supervising the work performed by more junior staff Qualifications: Minimum five years of recent experience in tax consulting and/or compliance and/or risk management in public accounting firm or equivalent Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college Ability to manage interdisciplinary teams; and multiple concurrent projects and processes, applying expertise to make concrete decisions that impact the Risk organization Strong verbal/written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans Ability to travel when needed KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
