We’re growing rapidly and are searching for a Privacy Compliance Manager located in the United States or Canada to support a wide range of functions, including compliance with the evolving landscape of U.S., Canada, EU, and other international data protection laws and regulations. WHAT YOU WILL DO AS PRIVACY COMPLIANCE MANAGER: Manage all aspects of global data privacy with a focus on U.S., Canada, and EU privacy and data protection compliance for international companies in a fast-paced, complex corporate environment; Provide guidance to stakeholders on, and implement solutions to satisfy, the rapidly evolving legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to marketing and advertising technologies; Serve as a company-wide subject matter expert on compliant marketing, advertising, and media initiatives across B2C and B2B organizations; Assist with drafting and implementing various data protection policies, procedures, and training materials for U.S., Canadian, European and other international subsidiaries; Counsel Marketing, Advertising, Product, and Engineering Departments on data protection issues and practical solutions in a broad range of commercial and corporate contexts; Conduct and assist in the implementation of company-wide training on international privacy and data protection requirements; Review, revise, and negotiate vendor and partner contracts for compliance with U.S., Canada, EU, UK, and other international privacy laws and regulations; Manage and oversee the completion of legitimate interest and data protection impact assessments for U.S., Canadian, and European companies; and Assist the Compliance department with miscellaneous regulatory matters germane to the company’s operations in state and international gaming markets. WHAT SKILLS YOU WILL USE: A minimum of 5 years of experience across all areas of privacy and data protection compliance in either a reputable law firm or a technology company, with experience in online gaming preferred; Strong academic credentials and either a law degree and bar admission in the U.S./Canada or a bachelor’s degree and CIPP/E or CIPP/M certifications held for a minimum of 2 years; An in-depth command of U.S., Canada, EU, and other global data privacy laws and regulations, including CCPA, CPRA, PIPEDA, and GDPR; Several years of experience completing DPIAs, PIAs, and LIAs; Several years of experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and/or data processing agreements; Familiarity with industry standard methods of encryption, anonymization, and other information security requirements; A demonstrated commitment to ethical business practice and personal integrity; and An unquestionable work ethic, strong sense of accountability, and capacity to work cooperatively, diplomatically, and proactively with hundreds of colleagues in a demanding, global role.
