A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of clients employees by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of PwC to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy. Our Learning and Development Strategy team maintains relationships with clients, stakeholders, and key partners for learning and development resources that will help serve assigned client groups. As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for building and managing relationships with appropriate leadership team members, learning committees, and other client service representatives to understand the assigned groups strategy and priorities related to their learning and development goals. This role leads Learning & Development for PwC's Consulting segment including Cloud & Digital, Cyber, Risk & Regulatory, Deals, Managed Services, Tax Consulting and Transformation. 12 year(s) in talent/organizational/leadership development; learning; or other related fields with a minimum of 5 years' experience leading a learning function in a professional services, management consulting, technology consulting. or other similar environment Preferred Qualifications: Degree Preferred:
Master of Business Administration Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts including but not limited to: Understanding of the professional consulting learning and development space with extensive experience identifying and addressing the development needs of consultants; Designing strategies for learning across highly technical, strategic, and professional skills areas; Building personal business relationships that enable the ability to advise, collaborate with, influence, and lead executive business leaders and senior stakeholders; Leading the design and implementation of learning strategies to support business strategies and priorities including identifying business-level performance gaps and associated development needs; Leading a team to craft innovative learning design and performance improvement through digital media: simulations, virtual classroom, and other digitally-enhanced learning environments as well as via face-to-face learning; Working effectively across a matrix organization to integrate learning, development, coaching/mentoring, career planning, performance management, etc. and leading large scale cultural and business-practical change; Establishing and utilizing a network of internal/external subject matter specialists that can be leveraged to compare industry norms, common practices in people development and, benchmarking these practices effectively as well as for needs analysis, content development, instructor sourcing, providing feedback; Applying knowledge of leadership development, adult learning theory, training needs/performance gap analysis, instructional design and development, program planning and implementation, evaluation and assessment of learning and the effective use of educational technologies; Working across multiple countries, territories, and cultures with a balance of globalization and localization including experience working with off-shored resources; Having a working knowledge of NASBA's Continuing Professional Education requirements; Growing and developing the consulting, relationship management, and design skills of a team of strategists leading the portfolio of learning and development work supporting the Consulting segment; Running the operational aspects of a business unit including strategic planning, product development/management, budgeting, resource allocation, cost management/operational efficiency, service delivery, tracking/reporting/success measurement and team leadership; Having thought leader level management skills as well as being people orientated and having a developmental mindset; Demonstrating written and oral communication skills as well as negotiation and business analysis skills; Using design thinking; Using agile project management techniques; Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging learning technology trends and experience innovating with new learning technology tools; Analyzing data and communicating data insights to drive decision making’ Leveraging the Google suite of tools to drive efficiency, productivity, and collaboration; and, Demonstrating both an individual commitment to continuous improvement through innovation, simplification and leveraging industry-leading practices, and holding team members accountable for doing the same.
