Journeyman Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester - Secret Clearance Eligible - Island Creek Associates, LLC - Orlando, FL

Island Creek Associates, a professional services firm focused on Government customers, is seeking a Journeyman Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester for upcoming projects supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center – Training Systems Division in Orlando, FL. Any candidates selected for employment will be offered contingent employment. Summary/Objective: The Journeyman Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester will develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software or web developers. Create and maintain databases of known defects. May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Travel: May be required to travel on average 10% of the time up to 40%. Education: BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Experience: Candidate must have 3 or more years of experience with software development. Certifications: Test and Evaluation (671) Journeyman Proficiency Level. Required Work Authorization/Security Clearance: This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the Secret Level. Must have a current Secret clearance, however, candidates with US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance will be considered.

Must be able to receive a Government Common Access Card (CAC), access Government systems, and receive a security clearance. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: None.
