$56,056 - $67,176 a yearPermanentThe Legislative and Court Services Department is comprised of three branches; Legislative Services (which includes Council Secretariat, Corporate Mail and Print Services, Vital Statistics and Access and Privacy Services), Court Services (which is responsible for the administration of justice within two court service areas in compliance with the Provincial Offences Act, the Memorandum of Understanding and Inter-municipal Service Agreements) and Enforcement Services which is responsible for administering and enforcing several municipal by-laws including but not limited to regulations related to the parking of vehicles, pet controls, property maintenance, business licensing, and sign placement).
Under the general guidance and direction of the Supervisor of Information Management and Privacy, the Information Management and Privacy Analyst is responsible for coordinating elements of and supporting the development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of the City's Records and Information Management (RIM) program, systems, and services and the Access and Privacy program. Specifically, this position coordinates, implements, and maintains city-wide RIM technologies; implements information management programs, services or initiatives; conducts and analyzes the results of audits; and assists with the development of and conducts training. Additionally, this position leads, supports, and participates in departmental conversions of physical and electronic information to the RIM classification system. Lastly, this position supports the City with respect to legislative requirements under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act by responding to complex access requests under the Act, conducting privacy impact assessments, and providing guidance to staff on access and privacy issues. Overall, this position plays an integral role in coordinating elements of and supporting the development, implementation, administration, and management of information resources, access to information and the protection of privacy.

Education (degree/diploma/certifications) Two (2) year College Diploma in Records Management, Information Management, Library and Information Sciences, Information Technology, or related discipline Eligibility for and willingness to obtain the Certified Records Manager (CRM) Designation from the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM)
Experience Three (3) years of experience performing duties related to the above mentioned major responsibilities, including:
One (1) year of experience working with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act

Hours: The normal hours of work are 35 hours per week in accordance with the Collective Agreement Wage: This is a Level-6 position in the CUPE Local 2380 bargaining unit with a 2018 pay range of $56,056.00 per year to $67,176.20 per year ($30.80 to $36.91 per hour)
