Position Overview
The Director IS Governance, Risk & Compliance, through partnership with IS and business functions, will lead IS risk management for Oldcastle Infrastructure by developing programs for project & portfolio, demand, knowledge, and organizational change management. In addition, the Director will guide and sponsor programs and initiatives to ensure compliance and deliver a continuously improving cybersecurity landscape. The IS GRC team will lead strategic initiative planning, execution and sustainability of deliverables by working with the Information Services management team to develop solution and technology roadmaps and to objectively prioritize the IS project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Engage with business and IS leadership to develop business cases for improvements enabled by process changes, data, applications, and technology with a target of creating enterprise-wide, common solutions. Overall responsibility for project execution including prioritization, schedules, tracking, and budgeting; helps realize profitability of IS investments. Leadership of GRC team including directing work, coaching, and building talent. Work closely with the CIO and other IS leaders to define, refine, and monitor processes for tracking and creating visibility for project demand. In coordination with CIO, creation and oversight of budget and financial performance on internal and external resources and contracts. Management of solution vendors as appropriate including contract review, negotiations, operations and quality management. Collaborates with all locations and functions across Oldcastle Infrastructure. Ensures sharing of best practices and continuous improvement of our project, knowledge, change, security and compliance management processes. Responsible for the IS portfolio management process including process/procedure definition, tool enablement, working with IS groups to create the portfolio, and engagement with key stakeholders to set priorities for what portfolio projects to execute. Review, approve and negotiate major contracts for supporting software development related information technology tools and services. Ensure delivery of internal and external IS compliance audits and IS electronic records management. Lead development of documentation and ensure performance of routine control tests and work with IS team to ensure recommendations on how to improve processes comply with requirements. Establish and maintain a records life cycle to ensure that all records are appropriately managed in accordance to company policy. Guides the development of security compliance assessments on controls and processes. In conjunction with IS management team, ensures solution delivery and service delivery projects comply with CRH security policy and meet information security requirements for availability, integrity and confidentiality. Leads the development, education and adherence of change management processes to effectively ensure proper review and approval within defined service-level metrics.
Candidate must be passionate about technology and highly driven by results.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar technical discipline Advanced degree preferred 10+ years of large enterprise experience in an IT or business leadership capacity; at least 5 years of which has been in IT project/program management. 10+ years leading and executing project, program and portfolio management. 5+ years managing project managers, security managers, or other technical resources.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements

Demonstrates strong desktop, network and application configuration, troubleshooting and installation knowledge. Knowledge of and experience implementing ITIL framework of services, e.g. Incident Management. Ability to identify customer needs, gather relevant information systematically and resolve problems. Ability to develop effective teams. Ability to mentor employees. Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of a geographically distributed technical staff. Ability to present ideas in concise, business, technical, and user-friendly language. Ability to manage individual and team travel and expenses on a recurring basis. Ability to effectively work alongside and communicate with people with a wide range of skills, experience, cultures and capabilities. Demonstrated ability to deliver business value through IT, balancing drive for continuous improvement with respect of local company culture and processes. Demonstrated commitment toward customer service.
Work Requirements
Required office location for this position is Atlanta, GA. Ability to travel (overnight) as required based on business needs up to 50%. Ability to drive up to 4 hours for onsite services and meetings.
