We serve clients in various industries and backgrounds including, Defense, Intelligence Community, Financial Services, and Fortune 500 Commercial Corporations.Your Role: Candidate will support cybersecurity efforts required for delivery of Mission Assurance (MA) products as part of the effort to facilitate, evaluate, and report cyberspace operations. While representing USCYBERCOM, the candidate organizes, determines, and recommends necessary policies, regulations, directives, programs, doctrine, and procedures for DODIN operations; analyzes proposed capabilities, recommends COAs, and develops solutions to address areas of concern for shortfalls; develops concept papers, technical white papers, and related documentation detailing mission assurance practices for implementation throughout DOD; assess the development of cyberspace capabilities to validate USCYBERCOM mission assurance requirements; and synchronizes capability requirements and new tactical uses of cybersecurity platforms.We strive to maintain a positive working environment of highly skilled, confident, experienced security professionals who continually learn from one another and develop together as one of the industry's more formidable, advanced cybersecurity teams.Responsibilities · Provides technical expertise for the identification, development and prioritization of cyberspace operations requirements, processes, procedures, and governing directives· Assists in conducting cyberspace operations and defense of the DOD Information Network (DODIN)· Provides situational awareness (SA) of cyber incidents, health, performance, availability, and reliability of the DODIN· Identifies issues and priorities affecting operations· Supports the creation, dissemination, and compliance of applicable orders and directives to the DOD community· Addresses areas of concern for the development of cyberspace capabilities for cyberspace operations· Prepares and modifies requirements to develop cyberspace capabilities based on the changing cyberspace environment for appropriate Government review, validation, and prioritization· Analyzes capability development requirements, concept of operation documents, and system architectures· Utilizes automated capabilities to assess risk to DODIN assets· Assists in identifying and prioritizing requirements for capability development efforts· Analyzes proposed capabilities, recommends COAs, and develops solutions to address areas of concern for shortfalls· Develops, maintains, and automates metrics to assess USCYBERCOM operational Measure of Effective and Performance (MOE/MOP)· Develops concept papers, technical white papers, and related documentation detailing cyber security practices for implementation throughout DOD· Conducts research that focuses on rapidly emerging cyber threats and cyber adversary TTPs and drafts countermeasure assessments based on threats· Assesses the development of cyberspace capabilities to validate USCYBERCOM requirements· Applies knowledge on cybersecurity subjects relating to the conduct Mission Assurance activities through identifying and mapping of Mission Relevant Terrain in Cyberspace (MRT-C)· Collaborates with internal and external partners to facilitate information sharing and communicate complex concepts within USCYBERCOM· Characterizes and identifies DOD tasks Task Critical Assets (TCA) assigned to USCYBERCOM to assist in informing decisions on resource allocation and prioritization of effort· Provides planning and integration support for cyberspace operations and identifies opportunities for mission enhancement· Works with staff to write various cybersecurity policy documents related to Cyber Strategy, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Annual Campaign Orders etc.· Utilizes automated capabilities such as Strategic Mission Assurance Data System (SMADS) to identify DODIN task critical (TCA) assetsRequirements · Active Top-Secret Clearance with eligibility to obtain an SCI Clearance and complete a CI Polygraph.· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant technical degree, experience equivalence will be considered. // High School Diploma· Required prior work experience as a cyberspace analyst or a related functional area:For Level I (Junior-Level) Position: 2 years prior experience requiredFor Level II (Mid-Level) Position: 6 years prior experience)For Level III (Senior) Position: 9 years prior experience required· Must have prior working experience in:Facilitating DoD working groups and participating in DoD component level tabletop exercisesProviding substantive updates and briefs orally and in writing to senior leadership concerning cybersecurity operations· Minimum DOD 8140/ DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CISSP Incident Responder or CSSP Infrastructure Support· Exceptional interpersonal skills, including ability to: work alongside others, teach co-workers and clients/customers, and learn new technical trades and become a resident expert within a team.· Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to communicate complex concepts and results to all levels of leadership, internal technology teams and other stakeholders. Ability to articulate vision, planning, analysis process, and results.· Comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment and with stakeholders and team members spanning multiple locations and time zones.
