Leveraging innovative solutions and technologies, we serve customers all over the world.ABOUT THE POSITIONAstec Industries Inc. is looking for a Compensation Analyst to help drive global company initiatives while gaining experience with compensation strategies and data driven projects. The Compensation Analyst will play an important role in the development of various HR processes including annual incentive plans, merit cycle and global grading. The preferred candidate has a background in Human Resources, analytics, and compensation.Key Deliverables· Responsible for evaluating job descriptions, market-based analyses, and salary survey participation.· Facilitate and/or participate in Annual Stock, Salary Cycle, and Annual bonus programs.· Ensure federal, state, and local wage and hour laws are being met and processes are updated with legislation.· Partner with HR and other areas of the business to ensure externally competitive and internally equitable pay.Key Activities & Responsibilities· Compiles, organizes, and analyzes confidential HR data keeping it secure.· Provides guidance with job descriptions and grading.· Completes FLSA status reviews and career path reviews.· Participates in annual compensation surveys to benchmark jobs, benefits and salary data.· Completes wage analysis to assist the business in decision making.· Tracks and maintains federal, state, and local labor laws· Provides solutions and recommendations to improve the operation of system and employee experience.· Provides compensation and job description support for managers and HR team.· Designs and develops Standard Operating Procedures HR processes to include best practices.· Prepares and delivers presentations and training in person and web-based platforms to managers and others regarding Compensation processes and SOPs.· Write reports and develops dashboards to support HR business needs· Promotes and educates others on Astec’s core values, mission statement and vision statement.· Performs other duties as assigned.To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are: BS Degree in applicable field or equivalent years of experience in an HR or related field preferred.Five or more years of experience in Human Resources preferred.Three or more years of Compensation experience.Strong Excel skillsWorking knowledge of HRIS systems.Strong interpersonal skills, sense of collaboration, and teamwork.Service minded with a focus on quality and accountability of work.Effective planning, organization, and prioritization skills.Ability to effectively speak publicly and make presentations.Ability to write reports, policies, procedures and business correspondence.Supervisor and Leadership ExpectationsNone.
