BSA Analytics Officer - Banesco USA - Coral Gables, FL

Primary Job Duties
Conduct reviews and testing of the transaction monitoring and screening systems oModel review, including review of material changes to transaction monitoring model, screening systems, or business
oModel calibration, including qualitative coverage review, statistical analysis, and sample testing
oInterface with external parties for data & model validation
oConduct qualitative reviews, statistical analysis and sample testing for new or modified transaction monitoring scenarios
Conduct BSA risk assessments, including quantitative analysis, qualitative reviews, writing reports, creating summary presentations, and maintaining documentation oBSA risk assessment
oForeign corresponding banking BSA risk assessment
oBSA risk assessments of new products and services
Conduct periodic reviews of the customer and account risk rating methodology oStatistical analysis
oSample testing
oUpdating methodology document and maintaining documentation
oCreating summary presentation
Conduct reviews and testing of enhanced due diligence requirements and review scheduleServe as a subject matter and systems expert for the transaction monitoring and screening systems oReview and test new releases
oCollaborate with MIS, IT and BSA to troubleshoot various items
Review, revise, or draft procedures or job aids regarding primary job dutiesMay have the opportunity to cross-train or assist with other risk analytics tasks such as: oAssist with the implementation of model risk management policy for other bank models
oConduct statistical & other quantitative analyses, including financial and risk modeling
Adhere to Bank policies & procedures and regulatory requirementsResponsible for completing annual training program assignedPerforms other functions and/or duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required and a concentration in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar fields is preferred.Experience: Four (4) or more years of related experienceTechnical: Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) computing skills are required. Knowledge of banking systems is required (core, transaction monitoring). Additional computer proficiencies are additive such as SQL, ASP.NET, or other database, reporting, or programming skills.Strong analytic, quantitative, writing, verbal communication, and presentation skillsFluency in English is required and proficiency or fluency in Spanish is preferred.Regulatory: Knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations, including specific experience with BSA/AML, is required.
