Overview This role supports the front office trading teams and their related workflows. We are looking for a candidate that can leverage their technical acumen to analyze and remediate complex issues impacting our trading desk. In addition to strong technical skills, the candidate should be able to conduct exceptional client-facing interactions with our trading teams and business partners. The candidate will be our first line of support for all trading and technologies incidents and, from start to finish, will be required to track and appropriately communicate out impacts to our end-users while an incident is being investigated. This position is co-located with our trading staff. Role summary and job responsibilities Configures, administers, upgrades, monitors, and supports trading applications and workflow. Responsible for service delivery across all technology domains and all consumers. Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in their own job discipline and working knowledge of related disciplines Accountable for work of self, provides process and standards advice in area of specialty Works independently Responsible for swiftly resolving disruptions to technology services to minimize user impacts and maintain service levels Reviews the production readiness of technology solution implementations and application deployments and coordinates next steps across the involved teams Oversees and provides guidance on analysis of performance trends and actions being taken for preventing potential impacts Effectively uses logic as a problem-solving tool Assists others when they need help and provides it in a positive way that promotes confidence Proactively helps team members/makes suggestions to improve practices May lead a small initiative within Operations Ability to work with large datasets to create ad-hoc reports Ensures each trade flows between modeling, order, and execution management systems Works directly with multiple vendors and brokers to maintain and enhance our trading technology application suite Business knowledge Possesses fundamental understanding of the tech industry and internal business units to enable navigation and understanding of impact Requirements Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience Ability to analyze large datasets by creating complex SQL statements Broad knowledge of current technology trends. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Must be available to support both pre and post market activities. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to demonstrate high level of analytical and problem-solving skills T.
