CISOs and CIOs must ensure their organizations plan for worst-case scenarios, conducting frequent "dry runs" of disaster recovery plans, says Tonguc Yaman, CIO of SOMOS, a New York Community Care Network, who formerly served as deputy CIO of Bellevue Hospital.

Yaman is CIO of SOMOS, a network of New York physicians, specialists, community-based organizations and other providers who deliver care to those participating in the Medicaid program. Previously, he served as the deputy CIO of Bellevue Hospital, the largest public hospital in New York.
